Rally For Verrazzano Summer Streets!

Local cycling groups, running groups, and transportation activists from both sides of the bridge are rallying in Cannonball Park to push for a pedestrian and bike path to be installed on the Verrazzano Bridge, starting with a pilot “summer streets” program for Summer of 2020.
A path across the bridge was first advocated for while the bridge was under construction, and calls for one to be installed have been happening ever since. Learn more about the most recent proposal at Bike South Brooklyn’s website.
